Cosmin Mahadev Singh was born in Romania – a country with a deep-rooted history in diversity and spirituality. His upbringing, enriched with a combination of old and new world teachings, set the foundation for an inner calling of growth and search for knowledge, which led him on his spiritual path.
Cosmin’s own world experience gives him the ability to exercise true empathy and compassion. His universal teachings transcend cultural and demographic boundaries and can be understood and appreciated by everyone. His teachings parallel the proverb, “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” Cosmin goes beyond feeding you knowledge for a day. He provides you with the “know-how” to recognize and harness the necessary tools for skillful living. His approach uses cutting edge scientific research harmoniously integrated with the ancient teachings of Kundalini Yoga as taught by renowned global authority Yogi Bhajan.

What to Bring
Comfortable Clothes and Layers. Although we expect warm days, evenings and mornings could be cool, so pack layers. A light rain jacket might come handy. Remember to bring something to cover your head and shoulders for meditation. You might also want to bring along a sheepskin and/or a lightweight blanket for relaxation.
Sleeping Bag. Bring a sleeping and/or a blanket if you want to sleep in the tents “Under the Sky”.
A Journal. This experience may be transformational, and you might be surprised at what feelings and emotions that come up during your visit. Journaling often allows us to dig deeper within, giving you space to express what may otherwise be difficult to vocalize. Looking back at your retreat journal later down the line can also be a beautiful reminder of how much you have grown.
A Water Bottle. Staying hydrated is key as the processes and activities involved can be thirsty work! We will be drinking nature’s gift of clean, fresh well water. We will also provide Organic Yogi Tea.
Mala Beads. Yogi’s tool for chanting and meditation.
Flip-Flops/Slides. As you will be practicing barefoot, it’s useful to pack some shoes that you can easily slip on and off as you practice and each time you enter the main house.
Hiking/Walking Shoes. In this nature retreat you’ll want to ensure you have a good pair of hiking or walking shoes, so you are always comfortable.
Sunscreen. Since we will be spending a lot of time outdoors, you may want to pack some natural sunscreen.
Snacks. While we will be offering an organic ayurvedic mono diet designed for detox and cleansing, feel free to bring nuts, energy bars, or other food or snack items only if you need them.
