Morning Aquarian Sadhana – Kundalini Yoga Class

 In Blog

It is most exciting news to proudly announce RYK Yoga and Meditation Center has added Morning Sadhana to the weekly schedule for yoga classes in our yoga temple located in Las Vegas.

The unique significance of Aquarian Sadhana is practicing as a group. Coming together as a community to share in yoga and meditation amplifies the benefits for your individual consciousness, as well as develops group consciousness.

Before you are scared away by the early call time, consider this personal anecdote:

I am not naturally an early riser. However, there is something mysteriously appealing about waking up during ambrosial hours. Particularly, looking forward to practicing with like-minded individuals who also chose to make the effort, get out of bed, drive, and mosey in to meditate; there beholds a certain type of etheric energy. While most are still asleep, we come together to relish in our devotional prayer, blessed by the nectar of God.

It is important to note that once one chooses to commit to Sadhana, a daily devotional practice, the cleansing process begins. Thus, although it is nice to foresee the bliss, clarity, and joy that comes from Sadhana, in reality you will be ridding yourself of the dust that has been accumulated. In these moments you shed layers, are humbled by depths of healing, and more wholly realize the truth of who you are.

Investing in the spiritual bank account of Sadhana is eternal. It is has been said angels are envious because they cannot experience Sadhana. Those who are able to recognize the gift and value of Sadhana are sure to benefit exponentially.

Inclusive to people of any tradition, after a short warm-up, there is a powerful Kriya intended to call upon awareness in the body, followed by specific meditations.

Take advantage of RYK Yoga and Meditation Center’s morning Sadhana every Saturday at 5am.

“The greatest reward of doing sadhana is that the person becomes incapable of being defeated. Sadhana is a self-victory, and it is a victory over time and space. Getting up is a victory over time, and doing it is a victory over space. That is what sadhana is. And when you do a sadhana in the sangat, you enrich yourself in multiple ways.” – Yogi Bhajan
