Abhaya (Abby) Geyer was raised in both New York City and London, England. She was introduced to yoga in the late 1980’s. In early 2000, she left the corporate world to pursue her dream of teaching both yoga and the sister science of Ayurveda. Abhaya integrates the 8 limbs and 4 paths of yoga with the sister science of Ayurveda in her classes. Passionate about Ayurveda, in addition to her yoga teaching, she teaches the 50-hour module for the YTT students at both Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and Soul of Yoga in Encinitas, CA. She is the Ad Manager for the Yoga Therapy Today magazine, the International Journal of Yoga Therapy, and the Ayurveda Journal of Health. She is honored to be joining the RYK family!
