The Great Conjunction Winter Solstice Meditation
The Great Conjunction Winter Solstice Meditation
Monday, December 21st 2020, 8:00pm-10:00 pm
This year the Winter Solstice comes with a very special and important celestial event: the great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. Each one of these two special events bring about auspicious energy that can be used for spiritual growth and enlightenment.
Winter Solstice is the great stillness before the rebirth of the sun and is believed to bear a powerful energy for regeneration, renewal and self-reflection. It is a time to rest and reflect as the light of the Sun begins a new solar cycle. Symbolically, the solstice is a time of turning inward, into the depths of the unknown and is connected to the personal awakening, an opportunity for human consciousness to blossom.
The great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn will offer a unique visual, a double planet effect as they will appear very close to each other in the sky. Jupiter is the planet associated with abundance and limitless expansion, offering opportunities and abundance, optimism and clarity in life. Jupiter represents blessings, spiritual insights, and new ways of seeing things.
Saturn is restrictive and represents rules, regulations and the traditional ways of doing things. Saturn wants us to grow and evolve therefore it asks you to be disciplined and to do your spiritual work. Is it also considered the Lord of Karma: by working through the lessons of Saturn, we are able to clear our karmic debts.
Together Jupiter and Saturn combine expansive and imaginative vision with the structure and discipline needed to both manifest results as well as strip away the inessential.
